1.Henkel Polybit Modified Bitumen Damp Proof Membrane Polyshield DPC has been designed for use on walls and floors in order to create a waterproof layer. It is ideal for protecting dry spaces from moisture and water ingress. Made from an SBS modified bitumen and a plasticizer, it offers excellent resistance to expansion and contraction, as well as good adhesion and flexibility.
2.Featuring high tensile strength, the membrane is tear-resistant and perfect for use in areas with high levels of dirt, dust or grime. It is also designed to be UV-stable and suitable for use in both internal and external areas. The multi-layered membrane offers unique benefits, including moisture and water integration, a breathable system and improved sound insulation.
3.Henkel Polybit Modified Bitumen Damp Proof Membrane Polyshield DPC is available in 30 cm width size and a thickness of 3 mm for easy installation and can be cut on-site to fit the desired lengths. For best results, the product should be applied using an open flame torch and be reinforced with boards, reinforcement fabrics etc prior to application.
4.This product is suitable for new and existing buildings, a range of wall and floor applications such as residential and commercial buildings, balconies, warehouses, basements, foundations and retaining walls. The 10 metre long rolls provide adequate coverage for commercial applications.
