About This Item

Mono component acrylic based flexible waterproofing for under tiling
PRODUCT
dry gum is a ready-to-use, acrylic base, solvent free, one component, and yellow-colored paste. It is designed for waterproofing under tiling in wet areas that do not experience long-lasting water ponding. When fully cured, dry gum forms a durable, elastic, seamless, odorless and impervious membrane that will not re-emulsify if continually immersed in water. It has a good resistance to alkalis, salt solutions & diluted acids, non-hazardous composition with excellent strength & flexible characteristics
SCOPE OF USE
dry gum has been specifically designed for the long term waterproofing of wet areas inc. showers, bathrooms, laundries, exterior decks, terraces and balconies. It may be used for the following:
- Waterproofing vertical and horizontal surfaces in kitchens before laying tiles, mosaics, stones, etc...
- Wet areas such as bathrooms and showers in residential buildings, hotels and hospitals.
- Moisture sensitive, absorbant substrates, e.g. plasters, gypsum boards, cement screeds, concrete slabs, cement boards, wooden chipboards, etc... in moist and wet areas subject to domestic use.
